Thanks to the dedication of more than 1,100 volunteers and with funding from SaskPower Eneraction, the Project Porchlight team successfully distributed more than 200,000 free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs to residents door-to-door and at more than 100 community events across Saskatchewan during the fall of 2008!

  • Sturgeon Lake First Nation welcomes Project Porchlight

    Project Porchlight visited Sturgeon Lake First Nation on October 20th. It was a bitterly cold day, but that didn’t stop people from coming out and offering a very warm welcome. We introduced our campaign and handed out nearly 200 free light bulbs. Sturgeon Lake residents were really happy that we included their community in our campaign, and invited us to return to do door-to-door deliveries. More...
