Volunteers with Project Porchlight, a national energy conservation campaign, will be at the Vegreville District Co-Op. Project Porchlight volunteers will deliver more than 2,000 free energy-efficient light bulbs to residents of Vegreville as part of a 500,000-bulb Alberta-wide campaign.
WHAT:
Project Porchlight is a community campaign to give people the tools to be more energy-efficient and see how simple actions matter when it comes to smart energy choices. On Friday, June 13th, Project Porchlight staff and volunteers will be on hand to explain the program, hand out free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, and demonstrate the benefits of installing them.
