Media Advisory - Beaumont Summer Fest

Volunteers with Project Porchlight, a national energy conservation campaign, will be at the Summer Fest event in Beaumont on June 15th. Project Porchlight volunteers will deliver more than 2,200 free energy-efficient light bulbs to residents of Beaumont as part of a 500,000-bulb Alberta-wide campaign.

WHAT:
Project Porchlight is a community campaign to give people the tools to be more energy-efficient and see how simple actions matter when it comes to smart energy choices. On Sunday, June 15th, Project Porchlight staff and volunteers will be on hand at the Summer Fest event to explain the program, hand out free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, and demonstrate the benefits of installing them.

Project Porchlight staff and volunteers, residents of Beaumont.

Sunday, June 15th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
