Fort Saskatchewan - Sobey's Bulb Day

National grassroots energy conservation campaign will be at Sobey's in Fort Saskatchewan on Friday, June 14th. Project Porchlight will deliver over 4,700 free energy-efficient light bulbs to residents in Fort Saskatchewan as part of a 500,000-bulb Alberta-wide campaign.

WHAT:
Everyone can get involved in this energy efficiency campaign and see how simple actions matter when it comes to smart energy choices. With help from volunteers in Fort Saskatchewan, Project Porchlight will deliver over 4,700 free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs to households in Fort Saskatchewan over the next few weeks.

Project Porchlight is sponsored by the Government of Alberta and EnCana Corporation. Partners include Shaw Cablesystems, Climate Change Central, the 4-H Foundation of Alberta, the Kiwanis Club and the Alberta Junior Forest Wardens.
