NJTransit.com (New Jersey): Simple Actions Matter in New Jersey
Project Porchlight staff, partners, and volunteers are handing out ENERGY STAR® qualified compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs at events and door to door throughout New Jersey.
Distributing energy-efficient light bulbs is the first step in making energy conservation accessible, relevant, and personal by giving regular people the power to save money, energy, and help save the planet.
Join the thousands of New Jersey residents, homeowners, businesses, and municipalities that are lowering their energy usage, saving $30 over the lifetime of each CFL bulb, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions simply by switching one old-fashioned incandescent light bulb for a CFL.
