This Past weekend in Halton Hills marked the launch of the Project Porchlight campaign. We were so happy to meet so many enthusiastic and environmentally-minded people.

Almost HALF of the bulbs alotted for Halton Hills were given out in a weekend blitz. Thanks to Neilson Dairy [1] who provided us with the excellent location, support, and yummy drinks! Mayor Rick Bonette and all of the Halton Hills councillors were there to see this event kick off. Keep your eyes on your local newspaper and Cogeco TV for more coverage.

In other Halton Hills news, the Project Porchlight team would like to give a huge round of applause to the kids at CTK High School. Their Green Club has offered to distribute 1500 bulbs after school on Tuesday, October 23rd. What an enthusiastic and amazing group they are and we are so happy to have them on board. They are setting a high standard for other schools around Ontario. Project Porchlight would like to thank student President Emily Dimytosh for her extraordinary efforts. She has all the makings of an amazing future environmental leader. A round of applause for CTK!
