The Alberta Porchlight team is headed to Grande Prairie for the kick-off of the north-west Alberta phase of the campaign. A ceremonial puck drop and light changing at centre ice before the Grande Prairie Storm [1] vs. the Olds Grizzlies hockey match will kick off the campaign. A booth in the main concourse will feature Porchlight's Human Powered Generator, colouring sheets for the kids, and a draw for a green iPod nano.

Grande Prairie and the region will receive over 18,000 bulbs. Once installed, 18,000 bulbs will generate $900,000 in energy savings for the people of the region!
