The Ottawa non-profit company behind Project Porchlight, which encourages people to use energy-efficient lightbulbs, has been endorsed by actor Ed Begley, Jr. [1] Ed will record public service commercials for the company's new volunteer recruitment campaign in New Jersey. "It's a tremendous endorsement to have someone who is a leader and a champion of environmental activism to say some nice things about One Change [2]," said Stuart Hickox, founder of the company. Begley, Jr., a longtime environmentalist, said the simple message of the commercials was that people could make a difference when it came to energy conservation.
