The Fifth Annual Tree Lighting Experience will be bringing holiday cheer and poetry to Eaton Place and Greenwood Ave on Tuesday, December 16th 2008 at 5 p.m.

The special program titled “A Holiday Experience at the Eco Garden” sponsored by the City of East Orange [1] DPW Solid Waste & Recycling Clean & Green Environmental Education Center and the Gordon Parks Academy Quest Y.E.R.A Environmental Ambassadors. In keeping with the Y.E.R.A. Environmental awareness theme, we have invited Project Porchlight [2], a non profit organization sponsored by the New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program™ [3] spreading the word of energy conservation. Mayor Bowser, the First Lady of East Orange Mrs.Bowser, along with city and county officials are being invited to attend this special ceremony.
