Project Porchlight brightens Aboriginal community

After last month's successful visit to Susa Creek School - where we delivered CFLs for community residents and held an art contest for the students - the Project Porchlight team has started receiving fan mail. Here's what Brad Chapman, Aboriginal Relations Advisor for EnCana [1], had to say about the impact we had with our May 12th event:

"Every time I'm in Grande Cache, someone tells me about how Project Porchlight has positively impacted their household! Mary-Ann, the school liaison coordinator who delivered the bulbs, provided 15 sets to Elders in the community, who really appreciated them. Great work by Project Porchlight."

Thanks Brad, and thanks to the students of Susa Creek for welcoming us, and our light bulbs, into their community!
