If you have to be on a frozen lake during a cold windy day, where's the best place to be? The Project Porchlight booth!
We attended Sylvan Lake's Winter Fest on February 16th, and we know we hit the jackpot as far as keeping toasty and warm (outside on a frozen lake). Not only did we have heat from the Porchlight crank, but we were sharing our booth with a youth group that was handing out free Tim Horton's hot chocolate! YUMMY!
Thank you to the brave souls who made the trek out to Winter Fest and over to our booth despite the frigid temperatures. They were rewarded with a warm, chocolatey drink and a free CFL for their efforts. All told, we gave out 150 light bulbs.
