Last weekend, Project Porchlight made our first appearance in Kenora. With the help of some superstar volunteers, we distributed 1,000 light bulbs to city employees, local businesses and private homes.

We also recruited more volunteers for the big Kenora Blitz on Saturday November 17. The local hockey teams and women's sorority will spend the day with us delivering bulbs door-to-door and handing them out at our booth at the Christmas Craft Show.

Special thanks to Kenora Hydro who bought an additional 1,000 light bulbs! They'll be out next Saturday to help us distribute them to households throughout the city.
