Project Porchlight campaigns attract a variety of media attention — from small community announcements to T.V. and radio spots.
Our ability to draw significant media interest is due to the uniqueness and grassroots nature of Project Porchlight which mobilizes volunteers and community groups to deliver free energy-efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Feature stories have included general information about Project Porchlight and One Change, door-to-door delivery of CFL bulbs by volunteers and/or community groups, individual volunteer profiles and our campaign events.
