Most of us have seen seasonal LED strings in the past couple of years, either on store shelves or hanging from neighbour's houses and trees. They're the brighter, better holiday lights that not only look more colorful and vivid, but also use about 95% less electricity than your old incandescent-style light strings. More...

Oh my goodness, I can't say thank you enough to Jocelyne and Antje for helping us Porchlighters out this coming weekend. You guys are the bees knees! Marathon, get ready for some energy efficient Christmas lights -- coming your way on Sunday at the Canadian Tire. Bring in an old string of lights for a new & improved LED string. The Eagles Hockey team in Marathon can arguably eat pizza faster than any group of people I've ever met. And they're not too shabby at delivering bulbs, either! Not only are these fellows excellent sportsmen, they're totally community oriented. What could be better for an evening of bulbifying?! More...
