This year, the Livingston Senior and Community Center's Winter Class Sign-Up day included an educational opportunity from Project Porchlight, the advocacy group that touts the energy savings offered by compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. The group gave out about 80 CFL bulbs and helped seniors understand the benefits, environmental and financial, of using energy-saving bulbs.
