Project Porchlight will be on hand when the puck drops to take in all the action. Between periods we'll be recruiting volunteers to help us distribute free energy-saving CFL bulbs to neighbourhoods across Okotoks.
The Porchlight team attended two consecutive nights of hockey with the Bisons in Strathmore and the Dragons in Drumheller. Proudly wearing our Porchlight hockey jerseys we were prepared for Alberta’s hockey fans and boy did they show!
The Alberta Porchlight team is headed to Grande Prairie for the kick-off of the north-west Alberta phase of the campaign. A ceremonial puck drop and light changing at centre ice before the Grande Prairie Storm vs. the Olds Grizzlies hockey match will kick off the campaign.
