Town Council shares the light
Posted by Amanda | December 12, 2007

After meeting with the Athabasca Town Council last month, Project Porchlight is now in full swing. The Town is distributing CFLs from its office at 4705 49th Avenue, handing out free bulbs when residents come in to pay their utility bills.

Many thanks to Melody Wolansky, Director of Finance and Administration; she had a big hand in making things happen.

Next up: a community wrap-up event will be organized in the New Year with participation from EnCana. Stay tuned!
