The Eagles Hockey team in Marathon can arguably eat pizza faster than any group of people I've ever met.
And they're not too shabby at delivering bulbs, either!
Not only are these fellows excellent sportsmen, they're totally community oriented. What could be better for an evening of bulbifying?!
On Wednesday, November 7, the Eagles -- with the help of their dedicated coaches and support crew -- handed out more than 1,200 bulbs going door-to-door in a few hours. That's a lot of bulbs, but then again, that's a lot of spirit, too, so it was no problem.
Why, they rehearsed their speech over and over again to perfection. And perhaps the best reponse to their finely tuned introduction was, "Free? Sweeeeet."
Absolutely!
