Lighting up the Yukon was a lot easier than we southeners had thought it would be. And that's completely because of the amazing people that we worked with while we were there. The folks at the Energy Solutions Centre were a font of knowledge and enthusiasm (and let us work in an office with a wicked mountain view - we don't get that in Ottawa...). The Yukon Conservation Society added a great spirit and thoughtfulness to the campaign. But, above all, we had to thank the volunteers and delivery crew who made it happen. Susan, Kevin, and Temira were out there day after day, despite the - shall I say - CHILL of certain days, to make sure that as many Yukoners as possible could have a bulb delivered to their door. Now, although the door-to-door Whitehorse phase of the campaign is complete, there are still bulbs out in the communities. If you haven't picked up your bulb yet, and would like to do so, please get in touch with us and we'll arrange things: porchlight@onechange.org.
