Project Porchlight Vermont rocked through the night with Burlington City Arts this past Thursday for the final show in a series of free concerts in Battery Park. For the past 25 years, BCA has ignited a creative and passionate relationship between the arts and community in Burlington, and this year we were glad to be a part of the action! On Thursday evening, BCA presented Alt-pop star, Matt Costa, drawing residents from all over town to the blockbuster, summer event. Friends and families gathered in the park with blankets and lawn chairs to listen to the tunes. Smiling faces cheered us on as we moved through the crowd, passing out more than 500 free CFLs! It was great to chat with folks in between sets and share our energy saving tips amidst the energy of a vibrant and inspiring community. Rock on Burlington, and rock on Porchlight Vermont!
