Porchlight Vermont Hits a Homerun at Lake Monsters Game

"Candy here! Get your candy here! Don't forget to get your CFL! Start saving energy now!" shouted a Lake Monsters staffer who so kindly took up the OneChange message while passing out candy to the crowd at Sunday's ballgame. On June 27, Project Porchlight Vermont cheered on Burlington's own professional baseball team as they passed out more than 800 CFLs to local fans. Efficiency Vermont's mascot, "Wattson," a lightening bug with a CFL tail, entertained kids and got Vermonters charged up about energy savings.
