Building a winning team in Vermont
Posted by Dan | May 5, 2008

One of the first and most challenging tasks we take on as we enter new geographical areas with Project Porchlight is hiring an efficient and effective office team. These folks have to drum up awareness in the community, train our volunteers, speak to the media and count all those bulbs, while preparing tidy reports and answering questions from the public on a daily basis. Getting the right people on our side from the very beginning makes a huge difference in the end result.

Fortunately, our first two Vermont staffers are officially on board, and we're pleased to introduce them here. Welcome, Heidi Conant and Lauren Weiss, who will fill the roles of Campaign Coordinator and Data and Volunteer Coordinator in Vermont this spring.

If you're so inclined, you can read all about Heidi and Lauren (and all of the other Porchlight people) on our Our Team page.
