Hello fellow Vermonters!
We need volunteers to hand our free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs in their neighborhoods!
Project Porchlight Vermont's goal is to deliver 36,000 compact fluorescent light bulbs to households in Burlington, Colchester, Essex, Essex Junction and Winooski by the beginning of August. By achieving our goal, people in these communities will save more than one million dollars on their energy bills!
Putting a free energy-efficient bulb in someone's hand delivers a powerful and simple message: Saving money and protecting the environment are as easy as changing one light bulb.
