The highlight of this year’s Orange Jazz Festival on July 3 in downtown Orange, New Jersey, was a real crowd-pleaser: Orange Mayor Eldridge Hawkins Jr. got on stage to play saxophone with famed drummer Cecil Brooks and His All-Star Band.

The Rochelle Park Senior Club (RPSC) of Rochelle Park, New Jersey, meets twice a month and organizes a variety of social events and bus trips for seniors. On June 23, the RPSC held an Ice Cream Social. “We’ve got a guy that comes, and it’s like a regular ice cream parlor,” says RPSC First Vice President William Betten.
